Model 870 is mechanical steering system designed so operator may be positioned in front of boat. This system carries manufacturers recommended maximum 70 HP for outboard engines & 90 HP maximum for jet drives. Stainless steel rotating drum. Self lubricating system needs no additional lubricants within the helm. "CorLock" design locks cable to drum for added safety. Interlocking lever to steering shaft relieves possibility of lever slipping from its position. 1-year factory warranty.
