Brackets offset the transducer to the side of the motor to protect it from damage. Also allows for easy cone angle adjustments to make the unit perform to its true potential. The brackets have the ability to convert any conventional electronic unit to a side-scanning unit by turning the transducer 90 to the lake bottom.
