This underwear is made of what's called a "phase-change material," meaning part of it can change from solid to liquid and back. A special kind of paraffin fills millions of microscopic capsules. (The company calls them Thermocules, in case you want to drop that into a conversation.). This substance melts when the temperature gets higher than 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Going the other way, it will freeze at about the same temperature. Here comes the good part-when it melts, it absorbs heat. And when it freezes, it releases the heat it absorbed when the temperature was above 85 degrees.
