Both bore & chamber have core wire looped through brass coupling threaded #8-36. Chamber brush is configured with 2 brush diameters. 1st stage of phosphor bronze cleans the chamber area the 2nd stage of stainless steel cleans the bolt lock up area. NOTE: the #8-36 coupling is not a standard thread size & will not fit most commercial rods however these will fit most Kleen-Bore multi-section rods found in the Classic Rifle Kits & the All Caliber Rod set (S-170).
