Fully machined from SS and through hardened. Free-spinning collar that turns if attacked by gripping tools without loosening lock. To install replace one of the nuts holding the outboard motor on the transom of the boat with a McGard lock. Then tighten the lock with the special key tool provided. The easy to use key tool comes in many different patterns for maximum security.

Model 74036: Single Outboard Motor lock 1/2"x20" threads designed for Mercury/Mariner Outboards - 40 HP and larger.

Model 74037: Single Outboard Motor lock 1/2"x1.25" threads designed for Yamaha Outboard -50 HP and larger.

Model 74038: Single Outboard Motor lock 1/2"x13" threads designed for Johnson/Evinrude - 40 HP and larger.

Model 74049: Single Outboard Motor lock 5/16"x18" threads designed for most of the following outboards: Johnson/Evinrude 6HP-30; Mercury/Mariner 8 HP-25 HP; Yamaha 9.9 HP-40 HP; Suzuki 8 HP-30 HP. Fits other small outboard motors with hole in transom bracket for mounting the motor (SSl bolt included in set). Clamshell packaging.
