The backbone of the Deadeye Custom family is the SCT technology improving strength and durability. SCT is a dual helix wrap featuring over 6000 strands of carbon thread wrapped around the 30/40 ton graphite blank. The component system of the Deadeye Custom series start with Sea Guide XO-316 stainless steel angled guide frames to reduce line twist as well as a specialized stainless steel guide tip to prevent inserts from popping out. The rods feature a custom EVA and Cork split grip configuration for balance and weight reduction for all day jigging. They also have an ALPS RPD reel seat with aluminum thread nut to keep your spinning reels secure.
