This system can offer a heat reduction of up to 30 percent when compared to traditionally designed spools with metal washers. As if that wasn’t enough, the reel is pretty much bombproof when it comes to saltwater resistance – it has no less than five Hydro Seals, which are designed to prevent water ingress and give the reels a longer life, which is backed up by an International Ingress Protection Rating of IPX6.
