The Savage® Rascal™ Target XP Youth Single Shot Bolt-Action Rimfire Rifle is enhanced to deliver precision accuracy by young shooters. The Rascal Target XP features a heavy-contour, target barrel, with an 11° target crown and a threaded muzzle (1/2"-28) to accept aftermarket suppressors. The rifle comes with a 4x32mm scope, factory-mounted and bore-sighted on a 1-piece, Picatinny receiver rail. Savage's adjustable AccuTrigger® enables shooters to obtain exceptional accuracy with the Rascal. A lever mounted within the AccuTrigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, greatly minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. The bolt can be cycled for loading and unloading with the 2-stage safety engaged. The full-length wood stock features a dedicated swivel stud on the fore-end for attaching a bi-pod. The Rascal single shot rifle functions with Short, Long, and Long Rifle .22 rimfire cartridges.
