The US Military Whistle is made in one of the original U.S., G.P.I. molds. This whistle design dates back to pre World War II. The last Government contract on this injection mold was 1971 during the Vietnam era. The US Military Whistle is made of high impact resistant plastic, has a wide mouth piece and pitch pea. Each US Whistle carries the U.S., G.P.I. mark and 1971 date.
