The PPQ arrives in 9mm and .40 S&W calibers with 4-inch and 4.1-inch barrels respectively. Representatives from Smith & Wesson (Walther's distributor) touted the pistol's "quick defense trigger," which provides an audible reset (clicking sound), 5.5-pound pull, and 0.1-inch reset. The pistol is based on the same sidearm carried by German police, Wulf Pflaumer, Walther's president, told The Oklahoman.
